Note
A cook's note is a useful appendix to a recipe that offers additional advice, ideas, or pertinent details to improve the cooking process or finished product. For example, it can advocate modifying cooking periods to achieve the ideal texture or suggest using fresh lemons instead of bottled lemon juice for a better flavor. It can also suggest substitutes for ingredients that might not be easily found or offer guidance on the optimal way to present the meal. A Cook's Note basically attempts to adapt the recipe to different cooking needs and preferences while also making it more user-friendly.
